Jeff McCollum From: Colleen Loughlin Sent: Wednesday, March 21, 2018 8:23 AM To: Jeff McCollum Subject: FW: 2BarX: Solar Panels and Snowmelt Attachments: ASPEN- REMP 26.13kW.xls FYI —From Greg in response to REMP etc. From: Greg Peterson <Greg@sunsensesolar.com> Sent:Tuesday, March 20, 2018 7:51 PM To: Colleen Loughlin <colleen@zone4architects.com> Subject: RE: 2BarX: Solar Panels and Snowmelt Colleen, Based on the Aspen REMP worksheet, it appears to me to be so. You may wish to confirm this with the City. Thank you, Colleen From: Greg Peterson <Greg@sunsensesolar.com> Sent: Friday, March 16, 2018 9:25 AM To: Colleen Loughlin <colleen@zone4architects.com> Subject: RE: 2BarX: Solar Panels and Snowmelt RECEIVED Colleen, 1 4/5/2018 ASPEN BUILDING DEPARTMENT There is no entry for the number of panels on the Aspen REMP sheet, only a place for the wattage. Attached is a REMP form with 80—335W modules, or 26.8kW.The orientation factor is lessens the kW Mitigation Credit value to 87% of the "nameplate"wattage. Hope this makes sense. Please give me a call if you have any questions. We will have questions for the roofing contractor regarding our installing mounting feet onto the roof deck, how they will be flashed or sealed etc.Various methods have a significant impact on cost and logistics, so it will be important to get that detail clarified early in the design process. If you know who is doing the roof, please let me know.Thanks. If all your collectors are installed similarily, you might have just one group. 2) Enter the aspect and tilt for each group. The solar orientation adjustment factor is automatically calculated. 3) DC side capacity is the total labled panel output kW in a group. 4) Inverter capacity is the recommended input power in kW of your inverter(s). 5)You will be given credit for the lesser of the labeled panel output or the inverter. 6)The kW for credit is multiplied by the solar orientation adjustment factor to get kW mitigation credit. 7)The kW mitigation credit is totalled and multiplied by$6865.32/kW to get the$Mitigation Credit 8)The mitigation credit will be automatically entered into your RREMP or CREMP form.If your project has both RREMP and CREMP,it will automatically divide the credits up,with priority given to mitigating the CREMP fee.
