Box 2508 Aspen, CO 81612 RE: 1112 Waters Ave., Aspen, CO BAI Project 7010 Dear Brendan: Pursuant the round 2 City of Aspen Building Department comments on the subject project, following are responses to the items within our purview. Page A501 (Zone 4 item#4): We have re-run the REScheck to account for the R-47 cavity insulation. The revised run has accounted for the tapered insulation noted on the architectural details by adding an R-15 continuous layer within the calculation. The revised REScheck calculation has been attached to the email with this letter. Page M101 (Zone 4 item#6): The balanced system requirement has been accounted for by the addition of a heat recovery ventilator to the design. The HRV, associated ductwork, and specifications has been shown on Drawings M102, M103 and M105. The full updated mechanical plan package has been attached to the email with this letter.
