This letter is being written at the request of Mr. Bob McDonough, GC
with McDonough Construction, Inc. After having reviewed the proposed construction
drawings and existing site it has been determined that no structural renovations are
proposed for this renovation. Should this condition change based upon actual
demolition then proper mitigation drawings and or certified letter specifications shall be
provided to the general contractor and City pf Aspen Building Dept. See attached

A 3'0"X 6'8"SOLID CORE DOOR TO MATCH EXISTING 1
3. DRYWALL PATCH &PAINT AS NEEDED.
4. REPLACE CARPET AS NEEDED.
MASTER BATH
1. REMOVE EXISTING BATH TUB &CHANGE TO A WALK A IN SHOWER.
3 SIDE WALLS,WHICH ARE CURRENTLY TILE ARE TO BE REPLACED WITH NEW TILE. NEW GLASS
SHOWER WALL AND DOOR TO BE TEMPERED GLASS PER CODE.TOILET PRIVACY WALL TO BE
REMOVED.
2. LOWER RAISED FLOOR IN CLOSET-BEHIND EXISTING MIRRORED DOORS. FLOOR IN CLOSET TO RE-
FRAMED TO BE LEVEL WITH THE EXISTING BATH FLOOR.THE EXISTING FLOOR IS CURRENTLY
RAISED TO ALLOW FOR HEIGHT IN THE PANTRY CLOSET BELOW.THIS MODIFICATION WILL LOWER
THE EXISTING PANTRY CEILING HEIGHT AND WILL CREATE INCREASED MASTER BATH SPACE.THE
EXISTING SLIDING MIRROR DOORS WILL BE REMOVED.
3. PLANS AND DETAILS WILL BE INCLUDED BY ATTACHMENT TO FOLLOW VIA EMAIL.
4. REPLACE EXISTING VANITY CABINET WITH A NEW PRE-FINISHED.UNIT MARBLE COUNTER TOP &
SINK&FAUCET INCLUSIVE.
5. NEW TOILET,SHOWER VALVE &SHOWER HEAD
6. NEW FLOOR TILE TO REPLACE CARPET.
7. DRYWALL PATCH &PAINT AS NEEDED.
NOTE
ALL PROPOSED WORK WILL BE INTERIOR AND WILL NOT AFFECT ANY EXTERIOR OR COMMON AREAS.
ALL REQUIRED CITY OF ASPEN BUILDING PERMITS WILL BE SECURED BY BOB MCDONOUGH
CONSTRUCTION.
We are hopeful to begin work the first week of April.We have a short window to complete the project before
other commitments in the first week of June.

First Bedroom Entry level
Remove Murphy Bed
Remove accordion door and infill frame,rough in for a 3/0X6/8 prehung solid
core door with bedroom privacy lock.New carpet?
Master Bathroom:
Move water closet wall toward vanity +/- 15" to allow more space for a the
new shower
Install new pre hung 2/X6/8 solid core door with privacy lock.
Demo shower, new rough-ins, new drain, valve, shower head, By pass shower
doors, new niche Corner shelf, Curb, Bench,tbd.
Shorten existing vanity to+/- 50" , single lay and faucet.
New framed vanity mirror to match owner suppled vanity
Demo Master bath closet area walls the and boxed up floor to recapture the
space that is being used currently as a pantry/flatware storage closet on
the floor below. Level floor
Replace HW heater, add isolation valves.
New plumbing fixtures, specs tbd ,hand held in shower? Towel bars,tp.
Hooks?
Demo master bath floor
New toilet comfort height elongated?
New tile floor, shower walls,tile pan,tile base in we area? solid surface
