Budget and Review
Committee
Review of all Budgets for HHS, HHS, CNP (amounts requested vs.
budget approved per program)
Grants Review Committee for the AC and CNP program has almost
completed the evaluation and scoring of all applications
Grants Review Committee for HHS program hasn’t started with the
evaluation and scoring of all applications yet
Supporting Steering Committee members: Are working very well
with each committee group:
-During the meeting with each committee group to discuss initial
scorings: Support members are to remind the committee of criteria
(financial needs are at this time not a component), they are being
encouraged to use a full review scale (1-5) and to review
objectively.
Review Committee Groups: Facing challenges to reach a quorum
at times and with the recruiting of new members in committee
groups (especially HHS)
Develop policy change packages with pros and cons, for council
to review and decide until summer 2024: Steering Committee to
deliver multiple scenarios to council
a)Increase Arts & Culture grant funding (Consensus)
b)Reward the highest-scoring applicants with more complete
funding (Majority)
Staff to connect with Finance Dep
