Regular Meeting

1)Call to Order 1530 Hours
2)Motion to Approve the Minutes -Marie Kelley, Michelle
3)Introductions and purpose
4)New business
a.Dog wash
i.Has been canceled in lieu of partnering with the Aspen Meadows to host
the Dog Day Carnival
ii.Due to scheduling conflicts and parking challenges, this will be hosted on
July 6th, 2025
iii.Major volunteer support will be necessary to help host this event
iv.More info to come at the next meeting
b.Krabloonik update
i.1 Dog was adopted out from Krabloonik by the Shelter
ii.Voices for Krabloonik are working to send many other adoptable pets to
the Northwest. In the meantime, many are being sheltered in Denver by
volunteers until they can navigate transport.
5)Any additional input?
a.The City is investing in Green Initiatives to make the building environmentally
friendly.
i.Many improvements are geared towards improving safety and making the
building more environmentally conscious.
1.Some of the improvements include stainless steel cabinets,
Gazebos, and solar panels.
ii.City and County have been great partners to work with on these
initiatives.
iii.Evan Pletcher with COA asset has been great!
6)Items to discuss at the next meeting, and when
a.Next Meeting will be October 9th at 1530
b.Ginna will send a calendar invite
7)Select a new board chair
a.Motion to select Diane as the new Chair of the Board
i.All in favor

Seth to include Board members on the non-profit email list
Ginna and Lara partner with Diane on resources need to be Chair of the Board
Ginna is to schedule an October Meeting
