The 10"Aspen in the backyard has a large Ganoderma fruiting body at the base which is likely to predispose the tree to failure to failure at the base/roots.This tree has thus been assigned a miigation value of$0.00. The 12"Aspen tree is approved for removal has been assigned a value using a standard formula developed for all trees found within the City of Aspen.The formula is as follows:Value=$45.00 x 3.14 x(D/2)2,where D is the diameter of the tree at breast height.
