communication channels.
• A press release was issued yesterday, and the press release, along with the
fellowship flyer, is attached to this email for distribution.
4. In-Kind Grant Request Discussion
• A specific in-kind grant request from the Steering Committee was discussed.
• One committee member suggested that the in-kind grant process, particularly for
events, might need some updates.
• Reasoning: In-kind requests differ from cash requests in some ways, and clearer
guidelines could help streamline the reviewing process for both applicants and
reviewers.
• The committee discussed the need to review and potentially update the in-kind
grant policy to provide more transparency and clarity in the future.
Next Steps:
• Continue supporting applicants with individual consultations.
• Finalize arrangements for the first convening of the Cultural Vibrancy Fellowship.
• Consider updating the in-kind grant policy and reviewing process.
