2.3 DESCRIPTION
Interior remodel to a duplex residence located off of Cemetery Lane in aspen. A
proposed update to the basement, main, and upper level is associated with the
remodel. Exterior updates are only to replace windows and doors.
3.0 PROJECT DOCUMENTATION
3.1 PERMITS/OTHER DOCUMENTS
This construction management plan (CMP) is being submitted as required by
the permitting process for the building permit.
3.2 PUBLIC NOTIFICATION
A project update will be provided to the public and HOA on a basis no leRErEIVED

than monthly, via website, newspaper, on-site notices, or other accepted
means of notification (per request of the City of Aspen). The first public
notification will occur no later than 10 days prior to construction.
The update will include a description of the current project phase, list any
traffic and/or pedestrian concerns and describe hauling/staging operations.
Additionally, it will include information of the kinds of equipment, expected
noise levels and durations of loud work.
Communication with neighbors can prevent complaints from arising, and
resolve concerns before there is a problem. Provide a phone number where
the foreman can be reached prior to the start of the job.
The above notification will specifically be distributed to neighbors located
within 300 feet of the project property.

4.0 PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
4.1 DATES OF CONSTRUCTION
Construction will begin upon receiving the building permit and completed within
a year.
4.2 HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION
As required by City Ordinance, construction hours will be limited to 7:30am -

5:30pm, Monday through Friday, and 9:00am — 5:00pm on Saturdays.
Construction activities will not be permitted on Sundays.
In accordance with the Noise Suppression Plan, work activities generating
noise levels in excess of 80 db. will be constrained to the hours of 9:00am —
5:00pm Monday through Friday only. The above notification will specifically be
distributed to neighbors located within 300 feet of the project property.
The following days are denoted as Non- Working days;
• Sundays
• 4th of July
• Memorial Day Weekend, including Monday
• Labor Day Weekend
• Thanksgiving Day
• Week of Christmas (Dec. 25-Jan. 1)
4.3 SEQUENCE (PHASING) OF CONSTRUCTION
• Demolition of walls
• Removal of fixtures
• Removal & Replacement of windows
• Framing & Drywall
• Replace fixtures
• Finish floors
• Install Fireplaces
4.4 ADJOINING PROPERTIES
The needs of adjoining properties and construction projects will not be
compromised.
4.5 PROJECT FENCING
All construction areas shall have a non-removable construction fence or other
approved device securely placed around the areas to be protected. The fence
shall be six feet (6') in height and constructed out of chain-link fence with mesh
windscreens (visual barriers). The type and look of fencing will be approved by
the engineering department.
4.6 PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE
All construction projects located within the City of Aspen shall uphold utmost
respect to public health and welfare and be reflected in prepared Plan.
5.0 SITE AND RIGHT OF WAY MANAGEMENT
5.1 RIGHT OF WAY MANAGEMENT PLAN
All construction access will be provided through the driveway.
5.2 EMERGENCY VEHICLE ACCESS
Continuous emergency vehicle access, on and around site, will be
maintained.

All construction access/parking will be provided through the driveway, and sit
on site.
5.4 STAGING AREAS
All construction staging will be facilitated in the space being remodeled.
5.5 CONSTRUCTION TRAILER, MATERIAL STORAGE, AND WASTE
MANAGEMENT
All construction materials and job site trailers will be kept inside the
construction area. Waste will be removed as needed.
6.0 TRAFFIC CONTROL

7.0 EMISSIONS

All vehicles and equipment used on site will be properly maintained such
that the engines will function within manufacture's standards or

All construction equipment will be adequately muffled and maintained to
minimize project noise.
