The landscape plan avoids highly flammable mulches, fire-prone plant materials according to Appendix C and also provides a complete irrigation system on the property to further address FireWise mitigation. Below is the project plant list as it relates to the FireWise Plant List in the WELS Appendix C. Many plants are recommended in Appendix C. The comprehensive irrigation system will create a FireWise landscape approach for the entire landscape. Added information regarding organic mulch to Specifications Sections 329300 for Plants.
