On 12/6/22,David Coon,Aspen City Forester assessed the two code-sized aspens and one juniper in the right-of-way which were removed at 612 W Francis St. during a 2022 remodel project.The applicant requested to excavate for a new front walkway connecting to the street the street and Parks directed them to air-spade the eastern edge alignment to 11"depth to assess roots from the large cottonwood in the right-of-way.No significant roots were found during air-spading,and the applicant installed the walkway as proposed.
