Hepworth-Pawlak Geotechnical (now H-P/Kumar)previously conducted a subsoil study for design of foundations at the site and presented the findings in a report dated September 25, 2015, Job No. 115 400A. The drywell is proposed in the southeast corner of the lot. The residence will have a basement level with the foundation wall located about 5 feet from the proposed drywell. The perforated section will begin at footing bearing level and be 4 feet long. A PVC membrane will be provided vertically between the drywell and the foundation. The drywell construction detail is acceptable with precautions to prevent undermining of the bearing soil and to prevent drywell water discharge into the building foundation drain. The foundation drain will need to be located on top of the footing for about 10 feet in both directions from the drywell. Consequently, the foundation wall and footing joint will need to be watertight. The natural soils are relatively dense and should not be adversely affected by water flow from the drywell below the building or the adjacent property. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please call our office. Sincerely, H—P KUMAR d _ Steven L. Pawlak. P.1✓:3 5`{1 7 .. '.
