Dear Sam:
Attached are total lead test results performed on shallow samples taken from the boring that we
recently drilled on your lot. We previously provided the subsoil study for design of foundations
at the site in a report dated December 5, 2017, Project No. 17-7-760.
Typically, Grand Junction Labs turns these tests around in a couple of weeks. This time was
more like two months. Not sure what happened.
The test results are relatively low, especially for this area. Check with the City but I believe that
the action level is typically on the order of 500 to 800 ppm (mg/Kg) total lead in soil. The City
may require additional lead testing or monitoring during construction.
