John — Per your request, the following is a description of the changes made from the original permit
submission and this current submission:
The differences between the Permit Set submitted on 05/21/18 and 8/15/18 are as follows for the
Architecture Drawings:
1. We removed the proposed access door and window change from the Mud Room.
2. Modified the location of the roof deck to avoid mechanical equipment.
3. Added an extension to the existing screen wall on the front of the house.
4. Added more information on the ship's ladder/stair design.
The differences between the Permit Set submitted on 05/21/18 and 8/15/18 are as follows for the
Landscape Architecture Drawings:
The latest set now includes an additional snowmelted area on the north side of the terrace to provide a
safe walking surface in the winter from the Hallam Street entrance to the Kitchen door (See Exhibit a).
This will require the area to be snowmelted to be sawcut and removed and rebuilt with a hydronic tubing
and blue board insulation assembly and the same non-slip tile added as the surface material. A new
detail showing the snowmelted slab has been included with this new set.

This latest set also now includes a 42" high glass fence at two areas around the terrace clouded below
ASPC ith the limits shown as a blue line (see Exhibit b). This is to stop the owners dogs from wondering off the
race. Both sections will have glass gates. Information about the glass system are called out on the
BUILDING DEPA 'aterials Plan on L1.02.

Exhibit b:New glass fence extents
- Regarding the plan sheets,the following changes/additions/edits were made:
o Sheet L1.01 now shows the larger extent of the temporary mulch area to be removed as
well as the on-grade deck area
o The Lighting Plan was removed and included in the lighting consultants drawing set
o Layout enlargements were included in the latest set for the sake of clarity
o Additional details were added showing how to access the drywell from the on-grade
wood deck as well as a detail for a screen on the roof deck.
o Due to the removal of the door between the garage and main house,the at grade
steppers were removed.
o The proposed dogwoods were removed from the planting plan
o A new sheet Roof Plan Enlargement L.4.03 was added to show the extent of the fence
that will screen the utilities.
o The pebble planting bed was reduced in size adjacent to the on-grade deck and this
pebble bed will now be plumbed for a recirculating water feature that will be no higher
than 30".
