Revised
Exterior guards have been revised to 42" tall
Panels are now shown on plans
Note has been added at
infill walls and detail
referenced
Notes have been revised to read "minimal" work and I have copied the notes from
proposed plans in regards to the work to be performed in these areas.
These drawings are hatched to show areas that are considered "demolition" for the
engineering department as well as for the builder and it is very important to make a
distinction. I have met with and worked though the calculations with Hailey in
engineering in order to keep demoltion under 50% of interior space.

Per A-107D it appears that there
is a fair amount of ceiling work
proposed for this area you show
as existing to remain, I question
whether the existing ceiling finish
will be staying in place during
this alteration. Per City policy
the building official and fire
marshal will have the final say as
to what areas receive fire
sprinklers during this alteration.
You can most likely expect to be
required to install sprinklers
anywhere ceiling finishes are
disturbed considering that you
are over 5,000 SF of fire area,
have 4 units, and are already
bringing water supply to this
level to sprinkler the additions.
Please add a note to this sheet
stating an inspection will be
required with fire marshal and
building official once demo is
complete to determine the
extents of the fire sprinkler
installation
