RE: 333 Park Ave., Aspen Demolition/Relocation
Flynn:
We understand that the historical structure located at 333 Park Avenue will be relocated to 931
Gibson Avenue and non-historical elements will be demolished. Following the relocation of the
historical elements and the demolition of the non-historical elements, the site will be revegetated
and all utilities abandoned.
We have provided a grading and drainage report and erosion sediment control plan and details
(see attached). The grading and drainage plan provides for a reconstructed grade approximately
equal to its historical condition between the edge of the street and the top of slope setback. The
proposed grading will cause runoff to sheet flow from the top of slope setback down gradient in a
historical manner and will not increase runoff rates or cause harm to neighboring properties.
The grading and drainage plan states that the plant selection will match the typical vegetation
found between the top of slope and the Roaring Fork River. The plan states that vegetation will
be irrigated until established. Irrigation will cease once the vegetation is established.
All utilities will be abandoned during the regrading of the site except for the water service. A
yard hydrant will be constructed in order to provide an irrigation source. Once the site is
revegetated, the water service will also be abandoned.
Sincerely,
Josh Rice, P.E.
