Hi‐ see attached info. There was a subdivision and rezoning in 2014 that put all the County buildings on one parcel, and
zoned the lot Public, with dimensional requirements to be set during a future PD.
In 2016, the County received PD approval for the courthouse plaza project. Ordinance #10 of 2016 set an allowed floor
area for the lot at 2:1 or 138,540 square feet. As far as I can tell from land use applications and the most recent building
permit, the buildings on the lot prior to the courthouse plaza project were 43,600 square feet of floor area, and the
courthouse plaza expansion was 29,370 so they area at about 72,970 square feet of floor area used up. As long as you
can keep the changes to the historic courthouse under 65,000 square feet we should be all good. 😊

I can’t seem to find a final PD that would have set a maximum floor area for the courthouse. What is the position of the
City vis‐a‐vis the floor area in the building? Do we establish it with existing calcs?
