provided on September 12, 2019.
ENGINEERING REVIEW COMMENTS AND CORRECTIONS
Civil Sheets
1. Keep all building components out of the Si Johnson Ditch Easement.
All building components have been revised to stay out of the easement.
2. Drywell required to maintain 10ft separation from all property lines and foundations.
Drainage easement would be required on neighboring property.
The drywell has been converted into a manhole without any percolation or WQCV. It
will hold water treated from the pond and have a sump pump. Once capacity is reached
the pump will be activated and water will daylight on site via a discharge pipe. Civil
sheets and drainage study revised to remove any reference of drywell.
3. Provide a construction detail for the swale.
See sheet C.6.002 for swale detail.
4. Provide a construction detail for the weir.
See sheet C.6.002 for weir detail.

5. The COA URMP calls out a aggregate mix of 70% Sand 30% Topsoil/organics. This
should comply with the URMP standard.
Bioretention pond aggregate mix revised to meet COA URMP standards; see sheet
C.1.002.
Drainage Report
6. Include a more detailed description of the operation of the proposed system.
See page 13 of drainage report for the correct operation of the proposed system.
Survey
7. Survey must certify that the error of closure is less than 1/15,000.
Surveyor’s certification has been revised.
8. Show the ditch easement as it extends onto the adjacent property.
The SI Johnson ditch easement ends at the east property line of Lot 3 per the amended
and restated plat (Book 122 Page 23). The ditch easement is prescriptive on the forest
service lot.
9. Show tie to City of Aspen GPS monuments.
Ties to COA monuments have been added.
10. Call out ditch easement reception number.
Ditch easement reception no. 647625 has been added.
