On site recycling separation will occur on this project per the During demolition, concrete and scrap metal will be sorted a designated areas. Please include diagram showingextent/depth of excavation and specific stabilization plan. 11.1. GENERAL All Construction equipment shall be adequately muffled and maintained to minimize project noise. 11.2. NOISE SUPPRESION PLAN All activity that generates noise in excess of 80 decibels will be restricted to operating between the hours of 9AM and 5PM Monday thru Friday. A sound barrier is depicted on the CMP Site Plan. Vertical micropile shoring is minimal. Depths are only 5-6ft and the line of length of the shoring is short. KFH can mitigate sound, using portable sound blankets (owned by KFH) attached to fencing. We do not believe engineered sound control is necessary for this project. Should the use of minor excavation equipment generate excess noise levels KFH will erect sound matting for temporary purposes, along the north and south sides of the site, to a height of 6ft. 11.3. CONTINUED NOISE MONITORING Continued noise monitoring will be installed if required by the Engineering dept. Due to Mechanicalstabilization, a fullmodeled noise mitigation plan isrequired. 1.
