In the original building permit submitted the owners’ plan was to replace the
existing fireplace with a new fireplace in the same location as the one being
removed.
The owner has decided on a different location for their fireplace. The existing
fireplace had already been removed when the owner decided to make the change
in location.
A drawing has been submitted showing the change in location for the fireplace.
A drawing is being submitting showing the venting for the fireplace in the new
location.
No new areas will be opened or changed to place this fireplace. This new
fireplace in not built into the wall but instead it is positioned against the wall. It
will be direct vented out to where the outside deck is (show on drawing).
The fireplace will be installed by The Fireplace Company in Carbondale. They are
certified fireplace installers.
As requested, pages that are directly related to the installation and venting of this
brand and model of fireplace are included in this change order submittal.
