Hi Denis,
The Diamond Spa Monarch Model can finally be found on the CEC website (FYI it took me two attempts for the filter to
work properly, but it is there). Please review and confirm all looks good to you on this moving forward.
And again, I appreciate your patience and multiple responses regarding this matter.
Hope you had a nice Holiday!

Hi Denis,
Has anything changed here on this packaged Diamond Spa? I have a project I will be submitting for permit sometime
around the end of the year and I just want to make sure this spa will still not trigger the RREMP fee we discussed in the
email chain below.
Apparently, Diamond Spas is also now producing the Monarch spa with an integrated automatic cover. It’s called the
Antero and I am checking to see if they have the same testing completed for it.
Thanks,

Hi Denis,
Thank you for the clarifications. I understand the need for spa manufacturers to ensure they meet and maintain their
CEC rating/testing/compliance into the future, as these requirements could change down the road.
I will let Diamond Spas know that the Monarch will be accepted as compliant (RREMP exempt) for 2019 only, but that
they need to be listed on the CEC appliance website from 2020 on in order to be considered exempt.
Thanks for your assistance here. Let me know if anything changes on this in the near future, as I have a couple of clients
that are interested in this spa.
Cheers,

Hi Denis,
Does the documentation I sent suffice for City compliance? Feel free to contact IAPMO or Diamond Spas to discuss.
Also, I am happy to send along any questions you may have.

Hi Denis,
I hope all is well with you! I am writing in regards to my continual question on City RREMP exempt spas.
Diamond Spas came out last year with the Monarch Portable Spa, a stainless steel spa that is:
· Portable Electric.
· Certified to meet CEC Appliance Efficiency Standards for Portable Electric Spas
· Certified to meet ANSI/APSP-14 Standard for Portable Spa Energy Efficiency
· Less than 64 SF of water surface.
Here is a link to their website: https://www.diamondspas.com/swimming-pool-spa-collection/stocked-portable-spas/
Have you reviewed and approved this spa? And if not, what info would you need to ensure this spa meets the RREMP
exempt policy requirements?
