This area has been
added.
De-watering is not
planned for this site per
Soils Report.
Stationing is for reference only and is not
utilized for layout. It is not added to plan view,
however dimensions to column lines are
clarified on plan view.
The line referenced in Comment 4 is the
property line, not a limit of excavation. This
has been clarified on the plan view.
The retaining wall is not considered in the
temporary shoring design. It is an existing
wall that is to remain in place.

The grading behind the proposed landscape benches has
been altered to eliminate steep slopes. This is shown on
sheet C-108 with a zoomed 5 scale view of the proposed
grading.
The new proposed storm inlet is now a 24"
diameter nyloplast pvc inlet placed completely
on the property. This is large enough for
spacing of all the pipe connection and satisfies
the URMP capacity calculations.
The alley grading has been altered to provide
positive drainage away from the neighboring
property. This can be seen on the new
grading sheet C-107.
The existing curb and gutter layer from the
survey has been turned on.
Station Offset labels have been added to corners of the inlet box on
the curb and gutter alignment sheet C-111. The inlet will be placed first
using this control. The curb and gutter will be installed second. The
deviation from the alignment for each corner of the inlet is negligible >
0.25" and the curb and gutter concrete will be field adjusted to make up
for this gap.

relocation of electrical manhole.
Utility plan must depict new
location. Please adjust plans to
include new electrical manhole
location.
TM is large vault. Relocation or
abandonment must be verified
with appropriate entity. It is my
understanding City fiber runs
into vault.

In order to limit length of service
line and create proper
separation from storm line,
please bend the water service
closer to the water main. Also,
less fittings and bends is ideal.
Please only have one bend in
the service line.

The water main has been depicted on the
storm drain profiles see sheet C-110.
Separation has also been dimensioned.
Coorispondence with Qwest has taken place
and the vault was opened. The vault
dimensions are now shown on the utility plan
sheet C-117. Coordination with Qwest will
take place to relocate the lid.
Hydrant and service line profiles have been
added to sheet C-117.
There is only one bend outside of the property within the ROW. the other
bend is on the property and is the owners responsibility. Also avoiding
the large landscape benches would be wise if the line were to fail in the
future. Trees on the north side of the structure have also limited us to
entering the building from the west. Two 45 deg bends are recomended
vs. a 90 deg to enter the building perpendicular.
Valves have been moved out of the curb and
gutter. See sheet C-117.

Roof drains and storm pipes are now piped
directly into the screened rock media below
the planting material. This way infiltration will
not be restricted by the growing media.
For the 132.37 cubic feet of WQCV to drain in
under 12 hours the flow rate through the orifice
must be greater than 11 cubic feet per hour or
0.003 cfs. The 2.81" dia orifice would need less
head than its diameter to satisfy this.
