Durant, Unit C-2 Building Permit Number: 0025.2019.ACBK Dear Mr. Barker, Please find below responses to Building Comments sent in an email from Bonnie Muhigerwa, dated May 17, 2019. The comments reference revised architectural drawings and other affected documents. A link to these documents will be provided in the email carrying this letter. The following summarizes our responses to your comments: Architectural Drawings Comments: 1. A0, Cover Sheet – Please see the additional information and calculations provided by our mechanical design/build contractor, R&H Mechanical. 2. A0, Cover Sheet – The occupancy has been revised on the Code Plan, 2-A0, and the Zoning and Code Data. 3. The snack area will include complimentary items for the locker room clients and there will be no service counter or point of sale. 4. The door schedule and sheet notes on sheet A2 have been revised to indicate that door #1 will remain unchanged and will not be replaced. As an existing door to remain, this door is not required to comply with the 2015 IECC, C402.4. 5. Door 2 on 2-A2 has been revised to indicate the existing door will be replaced with a new 3’-0”x7’-0” door and frame. 6. Although it is not clear, it appears that comment is referencing the height of the sink rim above the counter top. Please see the response to the next comment below. 7. Details 5, 6 and 7, on sheet A4 have been revised to correct the height of the sink rim to be 34”, maximum, above finished floor. 07/02/2019 Pierce + Frye Architects  Vail and San Francisco 970.949.0899  www.PierceFrye.com Lighting COMcheck Comments: 1. The form field provided in the COMcheck application has a limited character capacity. The requested information cannot be added to the certificate. Please refer to the light fixture cut sheet for wattage listing per linear foot of fixture on page 6 of 34, of the lighting specs. No revisions to the COMcheck compliance certificate were made. 2. The spec page originally submitted did not print properly. Please see page 18 of 34 of the revised lighting specs. The fixture model number and specs noted on the lighting schedule on sheet A3 and in the COMcheck compliance certificate are correct and no revisions were made.. 3. There is a conflict between the wattage listed on page 12 and 15 of the Lighting Specs. The higher wattage was used in the COMcheck compliance certificate. No revisions were made. 4. Using the 150w transformer wattage for the two 7w fixtures causes the COMcheck compliance certificate to fail. These two fixtures have been removed from the lighting plan on 1-A3, the lighting schedule and specs, and the COMcheck compliance certificate. Structural Drawings Comments: 1. See 2-A2, sheet note #8 and 3-A5 for additional fire resistance details. 2. The required signatures on the Special Inspections have been added to the form. See attached documents.
