I touched base with my supervisor on this. We are going to accept that the original
numbers were slightly inaccurate and that the change order calculations are accurate.
I was directed to upload this email chain to the permit for our records.
The change in use from garage to not garage wouldn’t impact the overall gross floor
area. The bump out for the fireplace would increase both gross floor area and
calculated floor area.
I see that building hasn’t started their review – I’m going to open my zoning review
back up to working on the permit.

Hi Sophie,
- The attached PDF has the floor area calc sheet with the
table you asked for added on the right-hand-side of the
sheet.
- I have now PERSONALLY and thoroughly reviewed every
number on this calculation sheet 3 or 4 times during this
present change order review cycle alone. I have reviewed
the data both in the CAD system and manually on paper
multiple times. I can not find any errors on this sheet.
