Is this planting area
being served by an
irrigation zone?
Hines has added the irrigation valves associated with each respective hydrozone. This update
is reflected on the new plan set.
No it does not. Hines has removed the delta and revision cloud as it does not relate to the
Green Roof.
Hines has revised the irrigation plans to extend inline drip irrigation to this planting area.
This previously shown "Delta 1" triangular symbol was indicating the associated drawing revision and revision cloud
for the "Delta 1" Bldg. Permit Response Issuance.

Wildfire Mitigation Measures:
- The screening provided by the proposed Colorado Spruce is a condition of approval through the Five Trees Design
Review Board. To mitigate their potential to be a wildfire hazard the following is proposed, spruce trees will be clustered
together in natural groupings with breaks of 10' or more between clusters. Vegetation below the spruce trees will be
maintained at heights 6" or lower. Preference will be given to selecting proposed trees with thick bark, long needles and
trees with naturally lose lower branches.
- Routine maintenance will ensure annuals and herbaceous plants will be removed after they have gone to seed or when
the stems become dry, damaged plants will be removed and timely pruning will be incorporated.
- The landscape plan avoids highly flammable mulches and fire-prone plant materials.
