HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.064-25RESOLUTION 4064 (Series of 2025) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXERCISE ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT OF CHANGE ORDERS THAT ARE WITHIN THE APPROVED PROJECT BUDGET FOR CITY PROJECT #2024- 051 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CHANGE ORDERS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ASPEN COLORADO. WHEREAS, there is an executed contract between the City of Aspen and Stutsman Gerbaz Inc., for Park Ave Infrastructure Improvement Project approved via Resolution 077-24. WHEREAS, the City Council has previously determined it is in the best interest of the City of Aspen to authorize the City Manager to exercise administrative oversight of Change Order 1 to the contract with Stutsman Gerbaz Inc. approved via Resolution 062-25 and execute said Change Order 1 on behalf of the City of Aspen, Colorado. WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is in the best interest of the City of Aspen to authorize the City Manager to exercise additional administrative oversight of change orders to the contract with Stutsman Gerbaz, Inc., associated with the Park Ave. Infrastructure Improvement Proj ect and execute said change orders on behalf of the City of Aspen, Colorado. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, That the City Council of the City of Aspen does hereby authorize the Interim City Manager to exercise additional administrative oversight of any change orders to the contract with Stutsman Gerbaz, Inc., associated with the Park Avenue Infrastructure Project in amounts not to exceed $681,065.13 and execute said change orders on behalf of the City of Aspen, Colorado. INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Aspen on the 22nd day of April, 2025.
