proposed/new snowmelt(7600

shown on the snowmelt
schedule in the mechanical plan
set(4742 SF). The mechanical
plans and schedule,the
architectural snowmelt plan, and
this form all need to be accurate
and consistent regarding new
snowmelt and the architectural
snowmelt plan needs to clearly
identify new snowmelt vs
existing snowmelt. Provide
documentation of the boiler
efficiency claimed on the
CREMP worksheet, cutsheet
submitted did not provide that
information.

otherwise noted in an individual
design or certification. This
alludes to it having worked on
past projects but gives no real
specifics. It also appears to be
specific to CAFCO SFRM,which
is not one of the approved
SFRMs per the UL listing you've
chosen. This document seems
to allude more to it being
possible, rather than it being
approved. Original comment
requesting documentation that
you can apply spray foam over
your spray applied fireproofing
still stands. Submit a signed and
stamped report from a fire
protection engineer which states
how this assembly can be
constructed without
compromising the integrity of the
SFRM. Attached is an example
of such a report he had
submitted for a similar situation
on a past project.

You have them both entered as
_-=______ •:.:: steel framed walls and use R10
cavity with R8 continuous for
wall 12 (these are insulation
values from a different type wall)
and R22 continuous for wall 16
(correct insulation type but you
cannot take credit for the R
value of the wall components
like CMU and gypsum,
ComCheck already builds these
types of things in when you
select the wall type, only the R
value of the actual insulation
should be used). Please go
through the ComCheck report to
make sure you are using the
correct insulation values from
the correct assemblies, currently
about 50% of the wall
assemblies I've spot checked on
this report have not matched the
relevant assembly detailed on
A9.1 per the wall tags called out
on A0.10.
