We are not concerned with the lights attached to the structure; they appear to have been installed around the time the building was constructed. The lights attached to the tree in the backyard are concerning. They do not meet the exterior lighting code. If there are not any permits, the lights need to be changed to meet the code. They could be replaced with lights that have frosted lenses. The point light source shall not be visible from adjacent properties.” When I was looking for permits for the lighting I discovered that there was a deed restricted ADU, built as affordable housing mitigation, in the lower level (approved by Resolution 14 of 1993). I am unable to find any approvals removing the deed restriction and ADU. Please provide the approvals to remove the ADU. Finally, Patricia – please update the elevations to accurately reflect the existing and proposed conditions. Existing fenestration is missing from the West and East sides of the building.
