If during construction an alternative plan is determined, a change order needs to be submitted. * Optional shoring methods have been removed and clarified in the plans. As Depicted in the plans the East Side will use trench box shoring and the North Side will use site built shoring per stamped structural drawings. *Utilities are now depicted on the excavationstabilization plan. *Neighbor approval letter was included on the cover sheet of the plans and is now also added to the excavation stabilization plan. *North Side Shoring detail will be used fornorth side stabilization andstamped engineering docs are includedwith the drawings. * Excavation stabilization plan has beenclarified and has been reviewed and approvedby our structural engineer. If 6' is needed the soil must be laid back at 1.5:1 sloe or a shoring system must be provided. Page: 4 File Name: 134 MAPLE_BLDG PERMIT DRAWINGS.pdf Without a soils report, it is assumed the site has type C soils. Type C soils require a minimum 1.5:1 layback. Please refer to OSHA Regulations (Standards - 29 CFR). Sloping and Benching - 1926 Subpart P App B. If 1.5:1 layback is not achievable, a shoring system must be utilized. The 4' and 5' bench do not meet the OSHA standard. Page: 4 File Name: 134 MAPLE_BLDG PERMIT DRAWINGS.pdf There is no sheet S6.002. All shoring systems need to be stamped by a professional engineer.
