1. Provide a drainage report and drainage plan that complies with the Grading and Drainage
Requirements for Minor Design. This checklist can be found in Appendix A of the URMP,
available at this link. https://www.cityofaspen.com/DocumentCenter/View/581/Appendix-A-
Submittal-Checklists-including-Maintenance-Agreement-PDF
- RFE has developed a drawing set and report detailing the existing and proposed conditions and
how the new design will conform with the Minor Drainage Design requirements in the URMP.
2. Show on plans the entire disturbed area. Call out square footage of disturbed area.
- Refer to Landscape sheet L1.01 for disturbance areas.
3. Call out new impervious area and verify there is capacity in existing drainage infrastructure.
- The proposed conditions sheet within RFE’s set calls out all of the various components of the
new design and how these areas are tied into the existing surroundings and infrastructure..
4. Demonstrate how new rooftop deck drains. Are the existing downspouts utilized?
- The new roof top deck will be a drip through deck that is raised above the existing roof
membrane and drains. This is shown on the proposed conditions sheet.
5. Show drainage patterns with arrows, spot elevations, or contours.
- Spot elevations have been shown for the hot tub patio area. All other areas will remain the
same.
6. Show existing storm infrastructure on site. Demonstrate the new improvements utilize the
existing system.
- The existing pipes and BMPs are shown throughout the set to depict how the new design
impacts them.
7. Provide documentation that the Perfect Turf Pet Grass is a pervious surface.
- See detail 2 on Landscape sheet L.5.06 for pet turf.
8. Provide a detail on the dry well access panel.
- See detail 1 on Landscape sheet L.5.08 for access panel.
