1) Page: A7.01 Closed cell spray foam requires a thermal barrier; 2015 IBC 2603.4.
Response: Wall type W8 (sim) shall only be installed as an exterior furred wall (with closed cell spray
foam cavity insulation) over 8” concrete or 7 5/8” CMU (wall type W14 sim. / A7.02), located along Grid 6
at the concrete stair core. Concrete and CMU shall act as thermal barrier.

2) Page: A7.03: Any change in snowmelted area should be shown on revised mechanical and snowmelt
plans.
Response: No change to snowmelted area. Radiant tubing shown in assembly to ensure GC
coordinated all necessary snowmelt locations per Permit approved plans.
3) Page: A0.6z: This section should only show occupant counts that have their own toilet room
requirements taken care of. The mechanical room does not so remove it. This will leave 39 occupants
remaining- 20 female, 20 male
Response: See updated sheet A0.6z and plumbing calculations.
