The trees approved for removal have been assigned a value using a standard formula developed for all trees found within the City of Aspen.The formula is as follows: Value=$46.00 x 3.14 x(D/2)2,where D is the diameter of the tree at breast height.The total mitigation value assessed for the trees to be removed is$14,874.00.No trees will be planted on the property to offset mitigation.The total mitigation owed is thus$14,874.00.This amount must be paid the City of Aspen cash in lieu prior to the release of this permit.
