Manifold location—We have two manifolds to be located in the SE corner of the garage(1-8 loop, 1-3 loop). If we were to try to stack these above each other in the wall,we'd need a 7'/4"wall for all of the lines of the upper manifold to pass behind the lower. We'd like to move these manifolds under the stairs and have the access be the full width of the space between the trim and wall. Please see page 5 of attachment. 2. Bed 4 plumbing—The LVLs which frame the dropped floor for the bathroom cannot be drilled(per Boise Cascade specs)for the 3"waste line that will need to run to the chase at the south wall. We believe a chase in the ceiling may need to be framed for this. See pages 9, 10 and 11. 3. Dryer duct—There is a steel beam below the wall where the dryer vents are shown coming up from the LL. Would it be acceptable to bring these into the garage behind the cabinet void in the NE corner? If they are to be routed below the stairs as shown,we would need to notch the stairway header for them to pass into the joist bay. We then have blocks that were added to support the small warmboard filler sections that we'd need to pass through to follow the routing per M102.See pages 1,6,7,8. 4. Garage exhaust—holes in joists will need to be further west than what's shown on plan. Please confirm that this shift is acceptable. Page 1, 12. 5. Trash enclosure exhaust—please provide spec for this fan. Is this intended to tie into Garage exhaust ducting? If it is easier to review these questions over a Zoom call please let us know and we can schedule a meeting to review this RFI along with RFI#147 Boiler Flue&Duct Routing. Attachments RFI 154 Garage-Bed 4 plumbing, duct and manifold.pdf Official Response Response from Hannah Maloy(Structural)REG on Wednesday,Jul 26, 2023 at 01:40 PM MDT It is acceptable to replace the 9-1/2"LVLs below the shower with 9-1/2"BCIs @ 16"OC. It is also acceptable to leave the LVLs in place and add BCIs @ 16"OC between the LVLs.
