Hyman Ave Aspen, CO 81611 Ownership and maintenance of the proposed drainage improvements within private property will be owned and maintained by the Property Owner and/or Property Owner's Association. The developed drainage for the site has been designed to minimize maintenance. There are no mechanical items to check and maintain. Anticipated maintenance includes periodic (1-2 times per year and as needed after major storm events) clearing of debris from inlets and grates. Periodic sediment removal from the drywell may also be required. The removal frequency will vary depending on the sediment removal loading through the system, but it is unlikely sediment removal would be required more often than once every 5 to 10 years. Inspection of the drainage facility and associated BMPs shall be conducted annually and after every storm exceeding 0.5 inches. Sediment, debris/trash, and any other waste material removed from a dry well shall be disposed of at suitable disposal sites and in compliance with local, state, and federal waste regulations. The drain-time of the dry well shall be routinely evaluated to ensure the maximum time of 24 hours is not being exceeded. If drain-down times are exceeding the maximum, drain the dry well via pumping and clean out the percolation area (the percolation barrel may be jetted to remove sediment accumulated in perforations). Consider drilling additional perforations in the barrel (on the eastern side). If slow drainage persists, the system may need to be replaced. A signed Operation and Maintenance Agreement accompanies this plan. 1. Provide a basic site plan showing a location of all inlets, clean-outs and drywell. 2. Provide a maintenance log/schedule 3. Provide a 8.5" x 11" copy of the as-built for recordation purposes. RIVER CITY CONSULTANTS,INC■215 PITKIN AVE,UNIT 201•GRAND JUNCTION,COLORADO 81501■970.241.4722
