I have reviewed the proposed remodel plans provided by Sophie Harvey Design dated. I also personally inspected the premises on June 24,2021. The structure is a three story wood frame, multi family residence. The exterior has a timber framed stair for access to each apartment. Unit 103 is located at the garden level at the West end of the building. There are two units above and one adjacent unit towards the East. The floor at this level is over a crawlspace. At the time of my inspection, several openings had been cut in the drywall to expose the framing conditions. Brad Smith representing Hendrickson Construction was present and pointed out the proposed changes. Based on the framing I was able to observe, it is likely that the proposed changes do not interfere or alter the existing load-path. The structural integrity of this residence will not be affected by the proposed changes. Framing conditions will be reassessed after demolition has occurred. I have agreed to make myself available to consult when new information regarding the structure allows for a better assessment. Any structural modifications necessary to allow for the proposed remodel will be provided at that time. Sincerely, Hein Brutsaert P.E. 06/29/2021 06/29/2021 denism
