Bentonite liner installation
around area of disturbance.
Call out on the plans that the
front walkway will bridge the
ditch with a steel plate for
support and a pathway over top.
There will be no element of the
walkway within the ditch or sides
of ditch.

ADJUSTED TO SITE CONDITIONS. ENOUGH BENTONITE SHALLBE ADDED TO SEAL THE DESIRED AREA, BUT LIMITED SO IT
DOES NOT GET “PUMPY” WHEN COMPACTION OCCURS. 2”MINUS, NATIVE, COMPACTABLE MATERIAL SHALL BE USEDTO COMBINE WITH BENTONITE MIX TO CREATE THE DITCH
LINER FOR ALL DISTURBED AREAS AND FOR THE BEDDING OFTHE CULVERT SECTIONS CALLED OUT TO BE REPLACED.
ALL WORK WILL BE PERFORMED WHEN DITCHSYSTEM IS NOT OPERATING. WATER CANNOT BE PUMPED
AROUND THE SITE.
