Additional permit review time will be charged after 4 hours Please schedule a pre-construction job safety meeting to include the City ROW Manager or Construction Mitigation Officer Parking and Temporary Encroachments: Reserve parking spaces and/or attain a Temporary Encroachment permit for public space needed to support construction in the ROW, such as, construction support vehicles, trailers, portable toilets, temporary fencing. Coordinate parking spaces with Parking Department (970-920-5267). Engineering: Coordinate and obtain tree permit with Parks Department, as needed (970-920-5120). Permittee shall utilize erosion control measures (rock sock bags, inlet bags, dandy bags, etc) to prevent erosion and degradation of water quality. Road Closures: Any road closure should be communicated to the city at least 72 hrs in advance. Dispatch (970-920-5310) must be notified at beginning and end of day during closure. Lane closures are permitted only between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless approved for work activity outside the specified time frame. All deviations must be coordinated with the ROW Manager or City engineering staff. Concrete: COA must inspect formwork and ADA ramps prior to concrete placement. Testing frequencies shall follow COA standards. Utilities: Schedule any utility connections (water tap, electric, sanitary, gas) with appropriate utility provider.
