Main St, unit 4. Please find our response to your plan review comments of 11/23/22 below. All revised drawing sheets are bubbled and dated with a delta 1 of 2/01/23. General Note: 1. If more than 10% of lighting is being removed, then provide a COMcheck report for the new lighting. We are not removing any existing lighting. 2. Installation instructions must be on-site for inspectors. Contractor will have the installation instructions on site. 3. Per ICC A117.1-2009, section 804.5.3, the door for the dishwasher may not intrude into the clear space for the adjacent sink. Therefore, the DW cannot be in this exact location. You can either eliminate either it or the refrigerator to make space, or flip the refrigerator and the DW. Dishwasher has been moved, please see sheet A2.1 and A5.1 for updated location. 4. Show that all controls and operating mechanisms and hardware are compliant with 1109.13. All controls, operating mechanisms, and hardware will be compliant with 1109.13. See sheet A5.1 for updated notes. 5. Add a note to the plans stating that the threshold for the shower shall be ½” maximum height per 608.6. Please see sheet A2.1 for updated note. 6. There is a new mini split unit being added to the ceiling. Is that being attached to a new exterior unit? If so, we will need details such as a roof plan or elevations showing location and height and a spec sheet for the exterior unit. The indoor unit will be compatible with the existing exterior unit on the roof top. No new exterior unit will be needed. 02/10/2023 7. For blocking, rather than specifying a specific location for blocking, it would be preferable if blocking was specified for all bays in the shower and around the toilet. The height of the blocking should span the specified distance from the floor in 609.4.1 and 604.5.1. Please see sheet A5.1 for the updated drawings and notes. 8. Please provide a spec sheet for the “Speed Oven.” The speed oven has been removed from the project, a microwave will be installed instead. Please see sheet A2.1 and A5.1 for updated drawings and notes. 9. Please show that this speed oven does not turn this into a kitchen. Kitchens are not allowed in a non- restaurant commercial application. The speed oven has been removed from the project, a microwave will be installed instead.
