Also, we have used a Simpson Strong-Tie L90 ESR-2523 hanger on each end of the double 2x12 where we only have access to one side of the final 2x12 rafter. Please confirm that this is acceptable. Finally, I know the C-channel is non-structural and decorative only, but the inspector wanted confirmation from you that the attachment via allthread welded top the back of the C-channel, and bolted through the stud pack to the interior of the garage, is acceptable.
