As we are working through a backlog of previously completed/ paid applications/ it may be two weeks until we will be able to review your application. Once we start the review, we will check to make sure I have all the necessary documentation. In the meantime, if there's any documentation you think may be missing from your application, please feel free to reach out directly. The applicant is responsible for capturing all project impacts to trees within their narrative and exhibits. This may include trees beyond their property boundary. A list of documents which may be required as part of your submission is below: 1. Tree Removal/ Mitigation Plan including: - To-scale plan with all existing trees on site shown with each tree having a corresponding ID #, size in DBH in inches, and species. - Table showing trees to be removed and preserved with all the above information, at a minimum, for each tree. 2. Tree Protection Plan including: - Trees to be preserved shown with ID labels from Item #1 above with actual driplines shown and tree protection zones located. ( see the example TPZ created by City Forester ) - The more applicable information the better. Foundation lines, laybacks, new utilities, other CMP info are all great. If the applicable info ( ie: things that would impact a tree or its roots within or near the dripline ) is not on the Tree Protection Plan, then attach the plan sheets that show those things. - Other applicable sheets per the last item. Civil Sheets and foundation details and shoring plans please!! - Use our Permit Details and Specs right on the plan. 3. Landscape Plans and Offset for Mitigation info ( tree planting ) - Landscape Plan sheets including any trees being planted to offset for mitigation $ ( Tree planting details must adehere to the most current/ up-to-date City of Aspen planting standards. PDF of the official detail is available upon request ) - Estimate from a Landscape/ Tree/ Qualified contractor to plant trees. We will not apply costs such as irrigation work, grading towards offsetting mitigation. We will review submitted estimates and approve or disapprove “planting to offset for mitigation” at our discretion. 4.
