Change Order Request

A change order is being requested for the building structure as-built site location along with an increase
to the snow melt area in the REMP permit for 617 Bleeker St. This single family home project is
currently under construction, and the existing permit was granted in 2019.
Due to micropile shoring walls being surveyed in the incorrect location, it has come to our attention that
the building structure was shifted approximately six feet south from the original permitted location. The
as built location is within the site setbacks and maintains the same proposed height over topography.
Please see the attached revision to the civil drawings along with a request for variance for driveway
slope between the garage and alleyway entry due to the change in building location. Also included is a
revised drainage report.
This change in location also results in slight snow melt area changes to the driveway and walks that are
reflected in the RREMP change request along with the increased snow melt areas summarized below.
The proposed changes to the RREMP submission consist of adding additional snow melt and revising a
spa as non-exempt.
Summary of the proposed changes to the R-REMP Permit
1. The planned Spa has been added to the permit, and has moved into the non-exempt category.
The Spa is a rhombus shape with 42.09 Sq Ft of water surface.
2. The upper deck area including the area under the proposed spa has been added to the
snowmelt area; an additional 403.8 SF
3. The Basement stair has been added to the snow melt area; an additional 49.35 SF
4. The basement egress window has been added to the snow melt area; an additional 10.5 SF
5. The covered entry porch has been added to the snow melt area; an additional 71.97 SF
6. The boiler Efficiency has been updated to reflect spec’d equipment to 97.70% efficiency, the
same efficiency is applied to the spa.
7. The areas of the driveway, entry walk, and side entry walk have been updated to reflect field
conditions.
Total snow melt area has increased to 1430.78 SF (including window well and basement stair)
Preliminary calculation of RREMP additional payment owed $24,474.30 if changes are approved.
