CALCULATIONS (1).pdf
1) You are missing half of your subgrade
chart. Look at your original permit, and
add back in the main floor subgrade wall
chart and percentages.
2) Many of your wall sq ft #s are changing
- even for walls that have no relation to
your scope of work. In order for walls sq
ft to change on this change order for any
walls not part of the scope of work, you
will need to substantiate that change.
This will require a full set of elevations
showing existing and proposed grades.
Note - exposure is based on most
restrictive grade, which in your case is
mostly natural (existing) grade.
3) Your gross square feet numbers have
changed for every level. This is not
outlined in your scope of work. Match
your two charts together, and the only
changes should involve the modified walls
and square footage in the gym.

Hi Jim, Milo here. I've updated the change order narrative in an effort to explain what's happened to this project file. Not sure how, or when it happened, but this project file became corrupted or mishandled. The change order set that Kim submitted was from a messy file. The updated set that has been uploaded has been cleaned up and addresses your comments above. Sub-grade calcs were found to be a little off, so I re-did them to be more accurate. Area fills weren't on correct wall lines. Dimensions were not linked to coordinating walls, etc...
UPDATE 10/20/23: As directed, updated plans show clouds to where all changes in areas & exposed wall areas have changed as a result of in field measurements and proper grade elevation locating. Original permit had the grade set at a different elevation. Survey corrections and in field verification required the amending of the exposed wall area calculations. Additionally, some walls dimensions on exposed wall calculations were incorrectly displayed, measuring to the wrong side of the wall, not the inside of it. It gets complicated at angled walls, but these have been corrected. All measurements have been updated to show to the nearest 64th, and top plate heights have been corrected based on what is believed to be in the field.
