It helped very much to see what has been done and review your plans for this space. Based on the current scope of work, I would not require the addition of sprinklers at this time. Aspen Fire requires the sprinklers in remodels when approximately 50% of the drywall has been removed from ceiling and/or walls. This project falls far short of that 50%threshold. If the scope of work changes, and more drywall ends up being removed, I would request that we review the project again to review sprinkler coverage. Please let me know if you have any questions, or need any other information. Feel free to share or forward this email with the building department.
