3. ALL SUBCONTRACTORS TO THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT THE SITE AND SHALL
CONVEY ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING DESIGN INTENT AND SCOPE OF WORK TO THE ARCHITECT
PRIOR TO SUBMITTING BID AND PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE WORK OF THE VARIOUS TRADES AND SUBCONTRACTORS
AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACTS, OMISSIONS, OR ERRORS OF THE SUBCONTRACTORS

5. CONTRACTOR TO ASSUME SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR JOB SITE CONDITIONS INCLUDING SAFETY
OF PERSONS AND PROPERTY FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT.

7. CONTRACTOR TO NOTIFY ARCHITECT IMMEDIATELY AND PRIOR TO ORDERING OF ALL LONG LEAD

8. ALL CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES TO BE STORED, HANDLED, AND INSTALLED
ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURERS' RECOMMENDATIONS.
9. IF ERRORS OR OMISSIONS ARE FOUND IN THE DRAWINGS THEY SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE
ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK.
10. DRAWINGS SCHEMATICALLY INDICATE NEW CONSTRUCTION. THE CONTRACTOR SHOULD
ANTICIPATE, BASED ON EXPERIENCE, A REASONABLE NUMBER OF ADJUSTMENTS TO BE
NECESSARY TO MEET THE DESIGN OBJECTIVES AND SHOULD CONSIDER SUCH ADJUSTMENTS AS
INCLUDED IN THE SCOPE OF WORK.
11. WHEN SPECIFIC FEATURES OF CONSTRUCTION ARE NOT FULLY SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS OR
CALLED FOR IN THE GENERAL NOTES, THEIR CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE OF THE SAME CHARACTER
AS SIMILAR CONDITIONS.
12. ALL DIMENSIONS TO BE TAKEN FROM NUMERIC DESIGNATIONS ONLY; DIMENSIONS ARE NOT TO
BE SCALED OFF DRAWINGS.

must be on-site for
inspectors.
Show that all controls and
operating mechanisms and
hardware are compliant with
1109.13
Per ICC A117.1-2009,
section 804.5.3, the
door for the
dishwasher may not
intrude into the clear
space for the adjacent
sink. Therefore, the
DW can not be in this
exact location. You
can either eliminate
either it or the
refrigerator to make
space, or flip the
refrigerator and the
DW.
Add a note to the plans
stating that the
threshold for the
shower shall be 1/2"
maximum height per
608.6.
There is a new mini split unit being added to the
ceiling. Is that being attached to a new exterior
unit? If so, we will need details such as a roof
plan or elevations showing location and height
and a spec sheet for the exterior unit.

Provide blocking for the installation of a future seat. A117.1 section 608.2.1.3
For blocking, rather than specifying a specific
location for blocking, it would be preferable if
blocking was specified for all bays in the shower
and around the toilet. The height of the
blocking should span the specified distance
from the floor in 609.4.1, and 604.5.1.
Please provide a spec
sheet for the "Speed
Oven."
Please show that this speed
oven does not turn this into
a kitchen. Kitchens are not
allowed in a non-restaurant
commercial application.
