To Whom it May Concern:
It will be necessary to have a minimum 2 inch diameter underground water supply line for the
combination domestic water supply and fire suppression riser for the 8,000 SF NFPA 13D
sprinkled residence at 931 Gibson. This is due to the overall size of the home as well as the
additional hydraulic design parameters established by the local ‘Authority Having Jurisdiction’.
The Aspen Fire district, in their 2021 IBC/IFC adopted code Resolutions and Amendments –
Section 2.q states:
