1.0 GENERAL
I affirm that the project contractor has completed the City of Aspen online CMP
certification class. A copy of the CMP certificate is provided with this submission.
2.0 PROJECT LOCATION
Project Address: 555 E Durant Ave., Unit 3C
Project Disturbance Area: 1374 sq. ft. internal remodel
Project Description: Interior remodel of existing 3rd story, 2 BD/2BA condo

3.0 PROJECT DOCUMENTATION
Permits Related to this Project: 0092-2022-BRES; will also apply for MEP and
Temporary Encroachment permits
Indicate Project Public Notification: Residents within 300 feet of project will be mailed
project notifications describing the construction projects scope of work and their
relative tentative schedule. The letter will also inform the recipients of the project
representative's contact information; no less than 10 days prior to the start of the
project with project updates to occur at least monthly.
Additionally, Project Sign Will Be Posted at Site Per Requirements Set Forth by City of
Aspen.
4.0 PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Dates of Project Construction: Demolition and framing set for April 15-June 15, 2023;
with completion of project occurring September-December 2023

Hours of Construction: Construction will be limited to 7:30am-5:30 pm Monday
through Friday, and 9:00am-5:00 pm on Saturday. No construction will be completed
on Sundays or holidays as identified by the CMP Manual.
Will construction fencing be provided? Not required for the project scope

5.0 SITE AND RIGHT OF WAY MANAGEMENT
A Site plan is shown below which shows all construction staging areas
Due to our limited construction schedule and space, we will not be utilizing a
dedicated construction trailer at this site. During the demolition phase of this project, a
small construction dump trailer will be located in a parking space within the North of
Nell underground parking, as coordinated with the North of Nell HOA, and any
cardboard associated with the project will be collected and bundled for regular
disposal to the recycling center. After the demolition phase, all materials delivered to
the jobsite will be staged in this parking space for immediate distribution to the unit.
Will the project use any portion of the Public Right of Way for construction purposes?
The project shall submit a temporary encroachment permit for the use of the ROW. –

Will the project maintain continuous emergency vehicle access, on and around site,
including by not limited to police, fire, and ambulance services? - Yes
Temporary Encroachment Details –anticipate plan for craning at this property.
555 E Durant Craning Traffic Plan – to be Staged in E Dean St. Alley
It is our intention to use stage the area indicated below for temporary encroachment and crane
service for limited time frames for four anticipated occasions. We are wanting to do this early in
the morning as the streets are much quieter than later in the day. Each occasion would start at
7:30 a.m., with anticipated completion windows of approximately 1 to 6 hours per occurrence.
The service will be used in the following ways:
- To stage an insulation truck (approx. 6 hours)
- To crane drywall to the 3rd floor balcony (approx. 4 hours)
- Potentially to crane in cabinets to 3rd floor balcony (approx. 2-3 hours)
- To crane in appliances to 3rd floor balcony (approx. 2 hours)
We will have cones and signage at the corners asking that pedestrians cross to the other side of
the street as well as have two people on the sidewalk to ask pedestrians to cross the street as
necessary.
We should not need traffic control except perhaps when the crane is getting positioned.
