A ROW permit and Permanent Encroachment License are required. - R10 insulation shall be installed under the area to be snowmelted or R5 insulation shall be installed under the slab edges. (Ordinance 11 Series 2011) - Automatic controls installed for system shut off when pavement temperature is above 50°F and no precipitation is falling.
