1. Project location and summary:The existing asphalt shingle roofs of 15 buildings in Water Place have
reached the end of their usable life.The existing roofs are approximately 25 years old. Project scope
will include removal and disposal of the existing roof assembly, and installation of a new roof
assembly.
Units included in scope: 1-17 E Water PI. (8 buildings), 18-22 W Water PI. (5 buildings), 480 Doolittle
Dr. (1 building), and 455 Doolittle Dr. (1 building)

2. Project Documentation
a. Permits/Documentation: A roofing permit will be required for this scope.
b. Public notification: Asset staff will provide a weather resistant project sign at site (Fig 2), no
less than the minimum size and information required,which will be located in an area visible
from Doolittle Dr, E and W Water PI.

3. Project Implementation:
a. Construction timeline:Timeline is approximately 3 weeks with a TBD start date dependent
on permit issuance. Construction hours will follow the allowances and limitation of the city
(7:30-5:30 M-F, 9-5 on Saturdays and observed holidays.This project is not within the CRA.
b. Construction sequencing: Existing roof removal and disposal will be followed by immediate
installation of new roof assembly. One crew will work on one building at a time.
4. Site and ROW management
a. ROW usage: Use of ROW is not anticipated due to projects scope.
b. Staging areas and site plan: Exhibit A outline the proposed CMP site plan.
5. Traffic control and noise suppression:This project sits outside of the haul route map. Based on the
scope of the project no closures/impacts to Doolittle Dr, E or W Water PI are anticipated.As a short
duration residential roofing repair project, project is exempt from noise suppression requirements.
