A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN,
COLORADO, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXERCISE
ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT OF CHANGE ORDERS THAT ARE
WITHIN THE APPROVED PROJECT BUDGET FOR THE WEST END
CONGESTION DESIGN AND ANALYSIS PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CHANGE ORDERS ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF ASPEN COLORADO,
WHEREAS, there is an executed contract between the City of Aspen and
Alta Planning and Design, Inc., for West End Congestion Design and Analysis
Project in the amount of $167,690, a true and accurate copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit "A";
V�►THEREAS, there is an executed contract between the City of Aspen and Jacobs
Solutions, Inc., for West End Congestion Design and Analysis Project in the
amount of $23 0,105, a true and accurate copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit "B";
�1VHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is in the best interest of the
City of Aspen to authorize the City Manager to exercise administrative oversight
of change orders associated with the Alta and Jacobs contracts for an amount not to
exceed $74,848 and execute said change orders on behalf of the City of Aspen,
Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO,
That the City Council of the City of Aspen does hereby authorize the City
Manager to exercise administrative oversight of any change orders for an amount
not to exceed $74,848 and execute said change orders on behalf of the City of
Aspen, Colorado.
