You are responsible for recording the building envelope modification with the City of Aspen. Please send us final, stamped documents when this has been completed for our records. In order to move forward, you will need to pay the $2,000 final working drawing fee, submit two full size stamped sets of the Final Working Drawings, a City ofAspen construction permit and a Heavy Vehicle Use Fee, in the amount of $0.30 per square foot of the residence (FAR), with payment made out the FiveTrees Metropolitan District. A Construction Compliance Deposit in the amount of $20,000 (made out to FiveTrees Metropolitan District) is also required prior to construction. Once the Final Working Drawings are stamped and dated for approval, all ORB fees are paid, and you have received all necessary approvals and permits from the City of Aspen, construction may commence. This approval is good for one year from November 14, 2019, the date of approval. If you are unable to begin construction within that time, all approvals will be rescinded and you will be required to resubmit an application for new approvals. If work is completed that is not approved, you may be issued a Stop Work Order and you must immediately cease all construction activities until the reason for the Stop Work Order has been resolved to the satisfaction of the DRB. All work must be completed within 18 months of the start date. A schedule extension request with detail for the variance may be provided to the DRB and will be subject to DRB approval.
