DESCRIPTION:
The applicant is interested in modifying an existing wireless telecommunication installation on the roof of the
building at 197 Prospector Rd. As described, the proposed project is replacing/upgrading existing equipment.
T-Mobile is planning to replace 3 existing antennas with 3 new antennas on the building located at 197
Prospector Rd. Assuming the new equipment meets the wireless design review criteria – this will be an
administrative review of an “eligible facility” – subject to a 60-day shot clock from receipt of a complete
application.
Two issues will be evaluated as part of this review:
1) Compliance with design guidelines and other requirements for wireless communications facilities.
2) Meeting the criteria for issuance of building permit for the proposed project. A building permit will be
required to be submitted simultaneously to the Land Use Application.

TOTAL DEPOSIT: $1300.00 (Land Use) Building Permit Fees will be calculated at the time of submittal.
Building Permit fees will be submitted separately during the permit review process.

Street address and legal description of the parcel on which development is proposed to occur,
consisting of a current (no older than 6 months) certificate from a title insurance company, an
ownership and encumbrance report, or attorney licensed to practice in the State of Colorado, listing
the names of all owners of the property, and all mortgages, judgments, liens, easements, contracts
and agreements affecting the parcel, and demonstrating the owner’s right to apply for the
Development Application.
Applicant’s name, address and telephone number in a letter signed by the applicant that states the
name, address and telephone number of the representative authorized to act on behalf of the
applicant.
Letter from property owner providing consent to the application.
HOA Compliance form
Provision of project specific submissions as outlined in the Land Use Application – this includes but
is not limited to visual depictions of the existing and proposed equipment – at elevation and plan
view – and photo simulations of existing and proposed equipment.
Building and Permit Form (see attachment to email) – so that land use and permit review can
happen in parallel fashion and importantly meet 60-day shot clock requirements for complete
review. The contractor for the work must be submitted with the application. Contractor should
contact buildingadmins@cityofaspen.com to initiate building permit process.
NIER/EME report or equivalent, stamped by a Colorado Licensed Engineer, that includes the
following information: identifies and describes the specific RF emitting equipment and presents in
tabular and graphic form the RF type, extent, and power that is emitted from the facility specific
equipment and in relation to FCC rules related to maximum permissible exposure (MPE).
Depending on further review of the case, additional items may be requested of the application.
Once the application is deemed complete by staff, the applicant/applicant’s representative will
receive an e-mail requesting submission of an electronic copy of the complete application and the
deposit. Once the deposit is received, the case will be assigned to a planner and the land use
review will begin.
